report health concerns, obtain a free health evaluation by VA or DoD
provider, and stay informed of VA’s research. Go to

Pre-retirement seminar: Portland 29 November at the Clarion from 6-7:30pm.
Includes current information about 20 year letters, the retirement
application process, survivor benefit plans, Tricare benefit options, VA
benefits and other state and federal benefits. Service Members and Spouses
of all branches who are eligible to receive a 20 year letter and those
within a year and a half of turning 60 are welcome to attend. FMI or to

Holiday Cheer at the Blaine House: Come and enjoy milk and cookies with
Maine’s first lady! Wear your Holiday best for a great family photo with Mr.
and Mrs. Claus. Saturday 17 December 3:00-5:00pm. This event is free for all
children of currently serving Military and Gold Star families. You MUST
